A new chapter in Boca Raton's development story is being written with the proposal of Boca Village, a 340-unit residential project by 13th Floor Investments. Planned for the vacant 17.24-acre site at 680 W. Yamato Road, this ambitious project aims to breathe new life into the area.
Envisioned as an eight-story building, Boca Village is set to encompass 414,566 square feet of fresh construction. The development promises a range of living options, with apartment sizes varying from cozy 500-square-foot studios to spacious 1,488-square-foot three-bedroom units. Each apartment is designed to feature modern appliances and a host of amenities to cater to contemporary lifestyles.
According to the South Florida Business Journal, the complex is expected to include 8,023 square feet of indoor amenities. These will complement an inviting outdoor courtyard and a swimming pool, creating a community-centric living environment.
Boca Village also plans to integrate approximately 30,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space, adding a dynamic retail and business aspect to the development. Parking won't be an issue, as the project includes 689 parking spots, with 35 of these specifically designated for electric vehicles.
The Miami-based 13th Floor Investments, known for its strategic focus on housing developments near public transit hubs, is spearheading this project. The site, once a parking lot opposite the Tri-Rail station, is poised for transformation under their vision.
Corwil Architects, a Coral Gables-based firm with an impressive portfolio of 39 active projects, is at the helm of the architectural design. With Boca Village, they are set to add another landmark project to their list, further enhancing the architectural landscape of Palm Beach County.
Boca Village represents not just a housing solution but a step towards a more integrated and accessible Boca Raton, promising to be a significant addition to the city's skyline and community fabric.
Stay tuned for more details on this development!
