Boca Grove is a boutique style residential community that is home to less than 450 member families. It truly is a recreational oasis, and it's recognized as one of South Florida's most desirable and affluent communities.
You'll find that there's a full spectrum of members here, ranging from families to retirees. And you'll notice that there's a strong sense of community within the neighborhood. The chateau at Boca Grove is perfectly located within central Boca Raton, which is extremely convenient for its residents because you can be in West Boca in 10 minutes or less. You can be in East Boca in 10 minutes or less.
And it's also located right next to the turnpike so you can get on the turnpike right off Glades Road super quick. And you can also get on nine five really quick. It's six miles or less to the beach. Additionally, the chateau at Boca Grove is located in a main rated school district. The elementary school is Del Prado. The middle school is Omni Middle and the high school is Spanish River Community High.
The Chateau here at Boca Grove is a boutique luxury condo building, and it was built in 1988 as five stories and 24 units within the building. There are three elevators in the building, and each elevator service is only nine units, and each condo has its own private elevator entrance. Additionally, this building has been meticulously maintained and it has incredible golf course and water views, and every unit has at least ten foot ceilings.
Furthermore, in 2019, Boca Grove was awarded Country Club of the Year by luxury travel guy. Now, let me take you inside and let me show you an example of some floor plans and units in this building. The typical size of a unit in this building will range somewhere between 3,007 thousand square feet, with anywhere between 2 to 4 bedrooms and 2 to 4 bathrooms.
First, Boca Grove takes security very seriously here. It's a gated community with many 24/7 armed guards and additionally the chateau at Boca Grove as demand guard and a concierge. And it is also gated. So you have two levels of security when you live at the chateau. Now, within the chateau, every unit has a two car private garage you can valet.
And there is guest parking. The two things that I love the most about this building is that it's 24 units and it's very boutique, so everyone knows each other. And there's a very intimate relationship there. Additionally, there's a 24/7 concierge that I've seen do above and beyond things for the residents of this building. Anywhere from walking dogs to delivering mail to the units, these concierges are here to help and they provide incredible services.
There are all sorts of amenities the Boca Grove community has to offer. The clubhouse was recently renovated and introduced a membership in October of 2017. It came with a brand new concept, a sports bar with five large screen TVs and all the amenities one would expect. Now let's talk golf.
No tee times and just pure golf. Boca Grove has an 18 hole Jim Fazio designed championship golf course. Then in November of 2021, Boca Grove completed its $11.5 million renovation of the Sports and Wellness Center. Boca Grove proudly boasts 11 Har-Tru clay courts, including one Italian red clay Stadium court and five lighted pickleball courts. Boca Grove offers anything you can imagine around the tennis court.
It has a pro shop for golfers, weekly clinics, round robin, social tennis events, weekend junior play and anything else you can think of. Boca Grove has a 13,000 square foot sports and wellness center that's equipped with anything you can imagine. The first floor of the building has multipurpose exercise rooms for Pilates, spinning and various other group fitness classes. Also on the first floor are locker rooms and steam rooms and a children's recreation room called the Hive for Busy Bees.
The Hive is a great amenity for parents because parents can drop their kids off for up to 2 hours so they can go do whatever they need to do, such as work out or just enjoy some peace and quiet. And adjacent to all that is a playground and a splash pad. On the second floor, it's a full gym ranging from treadmills to ellipticals, free weights, trainers and even physical therapy.
The pool here at Boca Grove is epic. It's a zero-entry, recreational-resort-style pool connected to a lap pool. And most recently, Boca Grove has been ranked number one in the state of Florida and number seven in the country for its aquatics and pools in 2022 by Club and Resort Business magazine. Surrounding the pool area, there's lounge chairs and cabanas, and they're all serviced by the Honey Bell Café and bar service team.
Restaurants in Boca Grove all have a different style and vibe, ranging from very casual to very formal. You really never have to leave the focus group community to get breakfast, lunch or dinner. The Windows restaurant is the formal dining area, the Grove Room is kind of the casual gathering place for members, family and their friends to experience lunch and dinner in a very lively, communal atmosphere.
The Grove Bar is a casual lounge where members and guests kind of meet and gather so they can have food and drinks together. The chipper sports bar and casual dining is the brand new spot here at Boca Grove. It's definitely the place to be. Check it out. And the Poolside cafe obviously just steps away from the pool, which is great for some light dishes and some quick food while you're hanging out by the pool.
Boca Grove frequently hosts extravagant holiday celebrations, wine tastings, book reviews and even game nights. And for the kids and families, there's a ton to do as well. Boca Grove frequently hosts festivals, carnivals, pool parties and even treasure hunts. The condo association fee here at the Chateau is about $2,500 a month. There's no rentals allowed in the building.
Pets are allowed, and there's a 24/7 concierge service available to the residents for any of their needs. Now that we just discussed the condo association fees for the chateau building, let's go over the mandatory membership fees for the Boca Grove community. The fees here are for the 2023 year, and they're subject to change for future years.
