More About Blue Inlet

Blue Inlet is located just east of Federal Highway and just south of Spanish River Blvd. It's in a prime location for a mainland Intracoastal community. Because you get the best of both worlds. You get the boating lifestyle of being on the water close to the Intracoastal, and you also are very walkable to the beach.

Spanish River Beach Park is very close. It's less than a mile away and it's very easy to bike or walk over there. The community is also really close to other parks in the area that I really like such as Lake Wyman Park. You can bike there. You could drive there in a couple of minutes. And those parks are also on the intercoastal and really pretty because Blue Inlet is so close to federal Highway and Spanish River Boulevard, you've quick access to anything you need.

You can get to downtown Delray Beach is Atlantic Avenue 15 minutes or less. You can get to downtown Boca Raton, Mizner Park in 5 minutes or less. And because Spanish River goes straight to I-95, you're on I-95 in 5 minutes or less. And you can get to both international airports in either West Palm Beach or Fort Lauderdale in less than 30 minutes, since every home in this community is waterfront with quick access to the Intracoastal.

I think it's worth mentioning that it takes 10 minutes or less by boat to get to Lake Boca and to the ocean with no fixed bridges. Blue Inlet is located in a great A-rated school district. The schools are JC Mitchell for elementary, Boca Raton Community Middle and Boca Raton Community High. The Community of Blue Inlet has 66 single family homes and they're all waterfront.

63 of them sit on the canal and three of them sit directly on the Intracoastal. This neighborhood was originally built in the 1970s, but because of the location is so incredible, builders have come in here and built new construction homes. So you can find homes ranging from 1970 to present day. We can still find homes as small as 1,500 square feet in this neighborhood and as large as 9,000 square feet.

Those would be the new construction behemoths. Bedroom amounts full range between three and seven lot sizes will range between 7,000 and 12,000 square feet. And most of the homes in this community are concrete block. I've been in one home that is wood frame construction. I really think this is an awesome community, primarily because I like the location so much and I see a lot of people taking advantage of the amenities that the location has to offer, how close it is to all the parks, how close it is to the beach, how walkable and bikeable it is.

Obviously, it's a big boating community, but the most important thing, in my opinion, is that it is 1 to 2 minutes walk to Whit's frozen custard. It's amazing. If you don't know about it, you'll thank me later. Go check it out. Another thing that I think people love a lot about this community is that there is no away.

Now, let's quickly review some details about the water and the water findings for homes in this neighborhood. The canals are about 80 feet wide. They're all deep water. Most homes sit on about 80 feet of water frontage and there are no fixed bridges to get out to the ocean. It's about 10 minutes to get to the ocean and there are only two drawbridges along the way.
