A New Culinary Destination in SoSo

Nestled in the heart of the "SoSo" (South of Southern Boulevard) district, The Blue Door stands as a beacon of Mediterranean charm in West Palm Beach. Opening its doors on January 24, this restaurant promises an escape to the coastal vibes of the Mediterranean, combined with the warmth and familiarity of your neighborhood dining spot.

A Collaboration of Culinary Masters

The Blue Door is the brainchild of five co-owners, each bringing a unique talent to the table. Executive Manager Tamara Magalhães, Executive Chef Nano Crespo, Interior Designer Sara Ricci, along with Max Ricci and Michael Katzenberg, have collaborated to create a dining experience that speaks volumes of their passion and expertise. The architecture, designed by Spina O’Rourke, features a strikingly white exterior punctuated by a vibrant blue door, a nod to the establishment's inspiration and its ties to a Los Angeles favorite, The Little Door.

A Menu That Celebrates the Sea

Chef Crespo's Mediterranean-inspired menu is a testament to the region's rich culinary traditions, with a special emphasis on seafood. The menu boasts dishes that highlight the simplicity and quality of their ingredients, from house-made bread, pasta, and ice cream to the standout wild prawn entrée and the whole branzino, served with Crespo's special salmoriglio sauce. The lamb chops, sourced from New Zealand, are already becoming a crowd favorite, embodying the restaurant's commitment to quality and flavor.

A Neighborhood Gem

Max and Katzenberg, residents of the SoSo District themselves, envisioned The Blue Door as a response to the community's growing need for a place that combines high-quality dining with a welcoming atmosphere. Their vision has clearly resonated, with the restaurant quickly becoming a bustling hotspot for locals and visitors alike.

Cocktails with a View

The dining experience at The Blue Door is further enhanced by its cocktail menu, designed to transport guests to the Mediterranean shores. The Sunset Spritzer, a mix of tequila, prosecco, and blood orange, is already a hit among patrons, capturing the essence of Mediterranean bliss.
